I had breakfast with my good friend @jordanbateman yesterday, and he gave me a small business starter package for Aldergrove, which includes 2006 census information (and projections to 2009). I found out that there are 3,403 people between the ages of 15-39. This is encouraging news, and greater confirmation of the need for the Gospel to be presented there in greater ways. I was a bit discouraged last week to find that 25 Aldergrove churches exist to serve 5,000 in the downtown core, but I'm a bit more encouraged to find out that's not all the people in Aldergrove. There are around 12,000 people in Aldergrove, which is quite a large population.
A twitterer I follow, @llanphere, posted an encouragement; "how r they 2 believe in him of whom theyve never heard?& how r they 2 hear without some1 preaching?& how r they 2 preach unless they r sent?" (from Romans 10:14, New Twitter Translation). I know this: I am sent.
